Special Measures Bearings & Components
Characteristics: Non-ISO metric/imperial dimensions; custom radial play and internal geometry.
Advantages: No restriction to OEM design. Lifetime optimized for legacy equipment (e.g., vintage textile spindles) where standard bearings won’t fit. Eliminates housing re-machining costs (very often can save up to USD5000 per unit).
Technical Ceiling: 0.6mm to 200mm ID; radial play down to 2 µm (C2H spec); form tolerances within 1 µm roundness.
Caution: No off-the-shelf replacement. Always supply original part drawing. Incorrect material choice (chrome steel vs. stainless) leads to rapid corrosion in washdown environments.
